Job Opportunity: Mental Health Professional
- Clinical psychologists play a vital role in addressing a wide range of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, schizophrenia, eating disorders, and addiction.
- This position involves providing telehealth or onsite support for clients, utilizing evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, DBT, and SFBT.
Key Responsibilities:
- A master's degree in counselling or clinical psychology is required, along with extensive training hours and postgraduate diploma qualifications.
- Effective communication skills are essential, with the ability to communicate fluently in English and local languages.
- Prior experience working with diverse populations, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, is highly beneficial.
- Additional experience in EAP, coaching managerial roles, or adult counseling can also be advantageous.
