Therapist - Mental Health Specialist

As a key member of our mental health team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting clients to improve their mental wellbeing and daily functioning.
About the RoleThis clinical position involves working with individuals experiencing challenges with mental health, psychosocial disability, or functional limitations. You will conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' needs, develop personalised interventions to enhance independence, coping strategies, and life participation, and support clients in building skills for self-care, work, education, and community engagement.
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients' strengths, challenges, and goals.
- Design and deliver evidence-based, tailored interventions to promote clients' independence, resilience, and overall wellbeing.
- Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic, person-centred care.
- We are seeking an experienced therapist with:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- Current registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- At least 3 years of experience in occupational therapy (mental health, rehabilitation, or community care highly regarded).
- Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues.
