Occupational Therapist Role

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our mental health services team at Northern Sydney Local Health District. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in psychosocial rehabilitation and be committed to delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and provide occupational therapy intervention for consumers within inpatient adult mental health services and rehabilitation program areas.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that promote functional skills and independence.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy and full registration with AHPRA.
  • Experience in mental health assessment, care coordination, and treatment/interventions.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant Occupational Therapy models of practice for mental health interventions.
