Therapist Role

At our organization, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional mental health support through a comprehensive framework. Our team of therapists plays a vital role in helping individuals achieve positive outcomes and improve their overall wellbeing.

As a therapist, you will be responsible for providing solution-focused therapy to members within a stepped care model. This involves conducting online counselling sessions with diverse individuals across various age groups and cultural backgrounds.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering short-term therapy to members, focusing on developing self-management strategies and achieving positive mental health outcomes.
  • Conducting six online counselling sessions per day, ensuring timely and effective support to members.
  • Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including internal and external health and wellbeing providers, to implement individualized care plans.

Required skills and qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A minimum Bachelor's degree in Counselling from Australia or New Zealand.
  • Valid registration with a professional body such as PACFA- Clinical, ACA - Level 3 or above, AASW or NZAC.
  • Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in 1-2-1 therapy sessions with adults.
  • Demonstrated experience in evidence-based counselling, with a focus on quality care and best practice standards.
