About the Role
The Security Supervisor will provide a security presence while remaining alert and focused. As part of our enthusiastic and customer-focused team, you will be responsible for:
- Managing and maintaining site databases
- Assisting with personnel rostering
- Compiling and sending weekly reports to the On-Site Representative
- Maintaining up-to-date site standing orders and communicating policy changes
- Ensuring site training requirements are met through ongoing training and information re-supply
- Inducting and training staff, maintaining relevant records, and ensuring licenses and certifications are up-to-date
- Reporting incidents through the correct channels and taking appropriate actions
- Meeting and reporting weekly/monthly KPIs
- Providing detailed KPI reports as required
- Managing employee-related matters in line with MSS Security policies and procedures
- Attending meetings with site stakeholders as required
- Performing duties as directed by MSS management
- Conducting incident investigations and following up on action items
- Overseeing and completing safe work method statements, site risk assessments, and workplace inspections
Requirements
- 12 months of security industry experience
- Certificate II in Security Operations and security license
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
- Open driver's license
- High level of computer literacy
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team environment
- Integrity and sound judgment
- Minimum of NV1 Australian Government Security Clearance
