Client Account Manager Job Description

The role of Client Account Manager is a critical position within our organization, requiring exceptional communication and problem-solving skills to effectively manage client relationships.

About the Role
  • As a key point of contact for day-to-day operational matters, you will be responsible for maintaining excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • This role involves a high level of customer service, as part of our Operations team, ensuring seamless communication between parties.
Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with customers to drive business growth and satisfaction.
  • Represent the company at internal and external functions, promoting a positive image and showcasing our products and services.
  • Work closely with the National Logistics Manager to monitor and improve Third Party Logistics (3PL) performance.
  • Participate in regular audits and quality control measures to ensure compliance and excellence.
  • Provide expert advice to customers on various aspects of customer service, including logistical and customs information.
  • Evaluate and redesign processes to improve customer service quality results, implementing changes as needed.
  • Establish and implement communication service standards, aligning with company productivity, quality, and customer service goals.
  • Proactively address performance issues by identifying areas of non-performance and root causes, providing support and training as necessary.
  • Contribute to effective cost management through education and training, particularly in areas of flight make-up, aircraft loading, and inventory management.
Requirements
  • Proven knowledge and experience in a similar role.
  • Desirable: Food Safety and HACCP qualifications.
  • Availability to work a rotating shift roster, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle challenging situations with tact and diplomacy.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups of stakeholders.
  • Sound knowledge of the airline catering industry.
  • Availability for occasional out-of-hours work to meet flight schedule demands.
  • Competence in documentation and records management.
  • Ability to obtain an ASIC pass and an airside driver's license.
  • Clear National Police Check required.
