New fixed term contract Senior Payroll Officer opportunity for an experienced payroll specialist to join a large national FMCG organisation.

This is a 6 month FTC role where you will be part of an experienced payroll team reporting into a well established HR Manager. You will assist in the processing of ANZ payroll for approx 1000+ employees on a fortnightly and monthly basis using ADP.

This role is suited to candidates who have experience working within an end to end payroll processing environment, excellent attention to detail and who have had exposure to ADP Payforce (preferred but not necessary). Experience working with an outsourced provider would also be beneficial but not essential.

This role is offering up to $110,000 + super. This role also provides hybrid working opportunities, 3 days from home & 2 days in the office.

The role is based near Mascot and there is on site parking provided for employees. The location is also close to / easily accessible via public transport.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the processing of fortnightly and monthly payrolls with a high degree of accuracy using ADP.
  • Processing pay for AUS and working closely with an outsourced provider to process NZ payroll.
  • Ensure compliance with the company policy, agreements and legislation.
  • Process all leave requests, terminations calculations, employment contracts, company policies and legislation.
  • Investigate and action any payroll related requests and complex payroll queries.

Preferred skills & experience:

  • 3-5+ years payroll experience within end to end payroll processing environments.
  • Knowledge / experience using ADP Payforce is highly preferred but not essential.
  • Experience working with an outsourced provider would be beneficial.
  • Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.
  • Strong and effective communication skills.
