Lead Compulsory Acquisition Lawyer

Position Summary:
">This position involves leading a team of lawyers and support staff conducting a compulsory acquisition practice. It requires the supervision of case analysis, practice management, and litigation expertise. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in compulsory acquisition, including litigation, and excellent case analysis and practice management skills.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise a team of lawyers and support staff to conduct a compulsory acquisition practice.
- Contribute to skills development within the team by leading continuing professional development (CPD) sessions and training.
- Collaborate with other parts of the Land Rights, Disputes & Advisory practice to support work and client acquisition.
- Maintain and build new client relationships for the practice.
- Drive business development activities to expand the practice.
- A minimum of 6+ years of post-admission experience in compulsory acquisition and planning.
- Experience in supervision of a team and driving business development activities.
- Excellent case analysis and practice management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- A collaborative and highly regarded team environment.
