Lead Senior Professional

We are seeking an experienced senior professional to lead practice growth and contribute to our Land Rights, Disputes and Advisory team.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity for a motivated and experienced lawyer to drive business development activities. You will have the chance to work on a wide variety of work in both dispute and advisory roles, including environmental claims and native title matters.
Main Responsibilities- Supervise lawyers and support staff conducting compulsory acquisition practices;
- Contribute to skills development within the team;
- Collaborate with other parts of the practice to support work and client acquisition;
- Maintain and build new client relationships;
- Develop and maintain relationships with expert witnesses;
- Negotiate with Acquiring Authorities to progress and resolve matters;
- Conduct litigation in appropriate matters;
- Provide clear, practical and concise legal and commercial advice;
- Deliver exceptional service to clients.
- Significant practising experience in compulsory acquisition, including litigation;
- Excellent case analysis and practice management skills;
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team;
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills;
- A positive and creative mindset towards business and practice development;
- Exceptional skills in delivering advice to clients, both written and verbal.
