Compulsory Acquisition Lawyer

We are seeking an experienced Compulsory Acquisition lawyer to join our team in a senior associate role. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified and ambitious lawyer to work on high-profile compulsory acquisition cases.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have experience in compulsory acquisition, litigation, and business development. They will be responsible for supervising lawyers and support staff, contributing to skills development within the team, collaborating with other parts of the practice, managing client relationships, negotiating with acquiring authorities, and conducting litigation as needed.

  • Supervise and manage a team of lawyers and support staff in compulsory acquisition matters;
  • Contribute to skills development within the team through leading training sessions and workshops;
  • Collaborate with other teams to drive business development and expand the practice's scope;
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met;
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for resolving disputes and achieving favorable outcomes;
Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading a team of lawyers and support staff in compulsory acquisition matters;
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of business strategy and plans;
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders;
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and partnerships;
  • Developing and implementing effective marketing and business development strategies.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in compulsory acquisition and litigation;
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills;
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team of lawyers and support staff;
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills;
