
Transportation Specialist

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering concrete to our customers. Operating our specialized vehicles, you will ensure timely and safe transportation from our plants to construction sites.
- Safely operate agitator trucks to deliver concrete to various locations, adhering to all relevant safety protocols.
- Follow prescribed delivery schedules to ensure timely deliveries to construction sites, maintaining open communication with clients and colleagues.
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip, reporting any maintenance or safety issues to ensure seamless operations.
- Comply with all traffic regulations and maintain a clean driving record, upholding the highest standards of professionalism.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines, both on the road and at job sites, promoting a culture of safety excellence.
- Provide exceptional customer service, building positive relationships with clients through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and paperwork, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills and experience:
- A valid and clean HR driver's license, with a strong understanding of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Proven experience as a professional driver with minimum 6-months on-road experience, ideally with experience in operating agitator trucks.
- A strong ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
- A strong commitment to safety and responsible driving practices, with a focus on minimizing risks and maximizing efficiency.
- Flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends and public holidays, if required, while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
