Senior Commercial Manager

We are seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to drive the commercial success of our Suburban Rail Loop East project.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring effective commercial and procurement strategies are in place, working closely with project teams and stakeholders to achieve this goal.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement commercial and procurement plans to ensure project objectives are met.
- Collaborate with project managers and commercial leads to ensure compliance with commercial and procurement requirements.
- Provide guidance and advice on procurement matters, including risk allocation and budget management.
- Work with the central procurement team to develop and agree procurement strategies.
- Manage project budgets, conducting regular reviews against plan and taking corrective actions as required.
- Bachelor degree or equivalent in Law, Commerce, Accounting, Quantity Surveying, Business, or other associated disciplines.
- Relevant experience in a commercial management role on a major civil project.
- Advanced skills in procedures for project contract administration, general business administration, and project management.
- Ability to understand scope of works for the project and supply chain market.
- Proven ability to lead, delegate, hold the team accountable, and intervene when required.
- A competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
