Job Title: Senior Nurse Manager - Aged Care

Catholic Healthcare is seeking an experienced nurse manager to lead our team at Jemalong Retirement Village in Forbes, NSW. This is a permanent full-time opportunity that will enable the successful candidate to oversee day-to-day operations of the 105-bed, single-level home and ensure high standards of care and service for residents.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and the ability to foster a positive team environment. They will be supported by a dedicated leadership team and regional/centralised support from HR, Recruitment, Workforce Rostering and Operational teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver person-centred care
  • Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and Accreditation requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement in clinical outcomes and resident experience
  • Operational planning, budgeting, and resource management
  • Build relationships with residents, families, employees, and the wider community
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Nursing tertiary qualification
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • At least 5 years of relevant nurse leadership/management experience
  • In-depth knowledge of aged care legislation, strengthened standards, and AN-ACC processes
  • Proven leadership in healthcare operations, including rostering and financial oversight
  • Collaborative, compassionate leadership style and excellent communication skills
