The Australian Government is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Chief Executive Officer and Principal Registrar of the new Administrative Review Tribunal. This is an exciting opportunity to be a key part of the new system of administrative review in Australia.

The successful applicant will support the President of the Tribunal in managing the Tribunal's administrative affairs and pursuing its objectives. They will also be responsible for managing the corporate and registry services of the Tribunal.

As the Tribunal's inaugural Principal Registrar, the successful applicant will play a pivotal role in establishing the Tribunal, finalising the transition from the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT), and setting up the Tribunal for long-term success.

The successful applicant will lead with integrity and promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace culture.

The Administrative Review Tribunal will review government decisions in a wide range of areas, including migration, refugee visas, the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), social services, child support, taxation, workers' compensation, Freedom of Information, veterans' entitlements, security, and other matters.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to lead a team of professionals and make a significant contribution to the development of the Tribunal.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in law, administration, or a related field, and will possess excellent leadership and management skills.
