Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Chief Executive Officer and Principal Registrar of the Administrative Review Tribunal. This is a unique opportunity to lead a new and exciting organization that will play a critical role in the Australian Government's system of administrative review.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the President of the Tribunal in managing the administrative affairs and pursuing the objectives of the organization.
  • Manage the corporate and registry services of the Tribunal.
  • Lead the establishment of the Tribunal, finalize the transition from the Administrative Appeals Tribunal, and set up the organization for long-term success.
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace culture.
Requirements

The successful applicant will have a strong background in administration, leadership, and management, with experience in a similar role. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

About the Organization

The Administrative Review Tribunal will be a new and independent organization that will review government decisions in a wide range of areas, including migration, refugee visas, the NDIS, social services, child support, taxation, workers' compensation, Freedom of Information, veterans' entitlements, security, and other matters.
