Job Opportunity

Capture Leads are responsible for developing and executing capture strategies to secure major defence contracts. They work closely with senior executives, customers, and internal stakeholders to identify opportunities, build relationships, and deliver winning proposals.

The role involves:

  • Developing and approving capture strategies, including value propositions and partnership models
  • Building and maintaining senior-level relationships with customers and providing support and insight to drive long-term outcomes
  • Leveraging strong leadership skills to deliver timely and successful results through direct and virtual teams
  • Influencing customer requirements, procurement strategies, and acquisition approaches to align with company capabilities and strategic objectives
  • Demonstrating a proven track record in hands-on execution of major captures in competitive terrains, preferably with formal training in recognised best practice

A key responsibility is leading end-to-end capture of major strategic opportunities from initial identification through to proposal submission and contract award. This involves conducting thorough competitive assessments and developing counter-strategies to position the company for success. Strong collaboration ethos and ability to lead teams of senior professionals are essential for this role.

We seek enthusiastic individuals with a results-oriented approach, who thrive on challenge, collaboration, and enjoy working as part of a team. As a suitably experienced Capture management professional, you will have a background in major captures in the Defence Domain and relevant experience working in Defence and Secure Government environments.

Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be eligible for Australian Defence security clearance. Current security clearance is advantageous.
