
Defence Contract Manager

Our department seeks a highly skilled Contract Management Officer to join our team. The role will involve managing contracts for various projects and ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
The ideal candidate will have strong commercial acumen and the ability to think strategically. They will be responsible for developing plans and processes to enhance contract management outcomes and will possess excellent communication and customer engagement skills.
The successful applicant will also have high-level organisational skills, self-drive and initiative with the ability to influence others to achieve tasks and business objectives.
In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver project outcomes. You will be accountable for the delivery of commercial and contract management outcomes and will be required to work both independently and as part of a team.
The Department of Defence Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) is responsible for acquiring and sustaining a broad range of electronic warfare and signals intelligence systems in both tactical and strategic domains. As a Contract Management Officer, you will be part of a dynamic team that provides exciting career opportunities.
The successful candidate will have a significant record of achievement in Contract Management and contract governance activities. They will also possess sound knowledge of the Defence Industry sector in Australia and will be able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
