Business Development is a pioneering opportunity to drive growth and innovation in Australia's Defence environment. As part of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing business development activities associated with estate works and other Defence infrastructure programs.

The role requires liaising and overseeing bid teams to ensure deadlines are met and opportunities progressed to submission with strong probability of success. You will also prepare business professionals and support contract negotiations for allocated key captures when down-selected, and ensure that all attributes of the program's development are handed over for execution.

To succeed in this role, you will need to build a well-defined and qualified pipeline of opportunities aligned with the 2025 Defence strategy. This will involve managing opportunities from initial identification, strategy development and pursuit management through to tender preparation and contract negotiation.

You will conduct ongoing competitor and market analysis, ensuring awareness of any changes that may impact successful achievement of Defence Strategy and Business development objectives.
