We're seeking a seasoned technical professional to lead our Presales Consultant – Microgrid initiative. This exciting role offers an unparalleled opportunity to drive business growth, foster innovation, and shape the future of energy systems.

Job Description

This challenging position demands a visionary leader who can harmonize technical expertise with sales acumen to deliver cutting-edge solutions that meet evolving customer needs. As a trusted advisor, you will provide strategic guidance on microgrid architecture design, pre-sales support, and post-sales engagement across various regions.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing tailored solutions that address the unique requirements of each client, leveraging your deep understanding of Microsoft Azure, distributed energy resources (DERs), and other related technologies.

  • Technical Governance: Provide technical oversight and sign-off for all microgrid opportunities, ensuring adherence to established standards and risk assessments.
  • Leadership Development: Foster the growth of local system architects through coaching, mentoring, and skill development, empowering them to become trusted advisors and driving sales success.
  • Engineering Leadership: Apply the System Architect methodology to design innovative, scalable, and secure solutions that deliver technical superiority and business value.
  • Global Communities: Contribute to global technical communities, promoting knowledge sharing, best practices, and accelerated learning among members.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you must possess:

  • Strong Technical Background: At least 5 years' experience in deploying microgrid systems or DERs, with a solid foundation in OT and IT infrastructure architectures.
  • Microsoft Azure Expertise: Proficiency in building, deploying, automating, networking, and securing applications in on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.
  • Energy Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with solar PV, battery energy storage, EV charging infrastructure, power distribution, and energy management software.
  • Education: BEng, BSc in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer-oriented skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, inclusive environment.
