Adult Speech Pathologist Opportunity in East Melbourne

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Speech Pathologist to join our team at Yooralla in Mitcham, Melbourne. As a permanent full-time or part-time Adult Speech Pathologist, you will provide best practice, evidence-based speech pathology services to adults with a disability, helping them achieve their goals and live the life they choose.
Key Responsibilities:- Delivering therapy in various settings, including homes, educational institutions, and community locations, aimed at supporting clients to achieve their objectives.
- Developing and implementing tailored plans to address communication skills, mealtime safety, and overall health and wellbeing for clients.
- Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Psychologists to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
- Providing indirect client service coordination to facilitate goal achievement and support client-centred care.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- A tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and current membership with SPA (Speech Pathology Australia).
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage people with a disability, motivate them, and build their capability.
- Experience working within a transdisciplinary/multidisciplinary team model and the ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to self-reflect and continually improve clinical practice, focusing on developing skills in areas of need.
- A competitive salary package, including $85,380 - $104,551 per annum, plus superannuation and salary packaging benefits.
