In this role, you'll be part of a multidisciplinary team providing speech pathology services to adults with disabilities in Melbourne.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled speech therapist to join our team as a permanent full-time or part-time Adult Speech Pathologist.
You'll work collaboratively with Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Psychologists to deliver evidence-based therapy services that support clients' goals and improve their overall well-being.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering therapy sessions in clients' homes, educational settings, or in the community
- Developing individualized plans to address communication skills, mealtime safety, and overall health and wellbeing
- Working closely with clients, families, and caregivers to ensure seamless care coordination
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology or a relevant field
- Experience working within a transdisciplinary team model
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to build positive relationships with clients and their families
- Current membership with SPA (Speech Pathology Australia)
