Key Roles and Responsibilities:

This is a challenging opportunity for an expert in electro-optical systems to lead the design, development, and integration of innovative solutions that meet stringent performance and environmental requirements.

  • The ideal candidate will develop system architectures, evaluate key technologies, and lead the development of coherent, integrated systems through optics, image sensors, processing electronics, stabilisation mechanisms, and control algorithms.
  • This role involves integrating diverse technologies into a cohesive system, ensuring seamless integration and optimal functionality.
  • A comprehensive understanding of technology assessments, architecture definition, and performance evaluations is essential for success in this position.
  • The successful candidate will develop models and simulations to predict system performance in operational environments, driving successful project outcomes.
  • In addition to technical expertise, strong leadership skills are required to effectively manage and integrate technical design activities.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Optics, Physics, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in designing and developing optronic or electro-optical systems, with a proven track record of leadership and system-level integration challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive successful project outcomes by effectively managing and integrating technical design activities.
