Student Wellbeing Strategist

Developing the Student Wellbeing Framework is a pivotal role within our Institute. This position oversees the implementation of comprehensive student wellbeing strategies and programs, working closely with qualified counsellors and welfare officers to create a supportive environment for students.
- Develop and manage the execution of student wellbeing strategies and programs, including the design, development, and implementation of new policies and innovative methods to promote mental health support for students.
- Drive organisational change by building positive relationships and networks internally and externally, contributing to cultural shift and enhancing the overall wellbeing experience for our students.
- Provide authoritative mental health information, advice, and guidance to stakeholders such as Deans, Heads of Department, and Education Managers across all areas of the Institute.
- Structure the operations of the counselling and welfare teams to align with Institute objectives and report on the outcomes of agreed targets.
- Through the counselling and welfare teams, lead the development and delivery of psychosocial, emotional intelligence, mental health literacy, team-building, and resilience programmes to enhance student wellbeing.
The Student Wellbeing Department prioritises championing student health, safety, and overall wellbeing, creating a holistic environment where every learner can thrive. From short-term counselling and mental health support to crisis intervention, our services span all campuses, ensuring students have access to timely care when needed.
