Wellbeing Champion

CQUniversity is seeking a visionary leader to champion student wellbeing and drive transformative change across the institution. This executive role is critical to delivering an integrated approach to wellbeing, where services such as counselling, accessibility, safer communities, and chaplaincy are aligned under a shared mission of empowerment and equity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership for mental health, safety, disability, and inclusion.
  • Position CQUniversity as a national leader in student support and community care.
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of wellbeing issues relating to university students, including evidence-based and trauma-informed clinical practice.
Required Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate qualifications or equivalent in a relevant area (psychology or an area relevant to mental health).
  • Registration or eligibility for registration with an appropriate professional association (AHPRA or AASW).
  • Blue Card and current Registration with AHPRA or AASW.
