Student Wellbeing and Behaviour Support Specialist

Position Overview:
This role involves delivering support services to enhance student and staff behaviour and wellbeing. The successful applicant will provide preventative and targeted interventions, collaborating with families and professionals.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Delivery of high-quality support services to students and staff.
- Collaboration with external agencies and department areas as needed.
- Maintenance of professional competence through ongoing professional development.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement evidence-based strategies to improve student outcomes.
- Provide advice and professional learning to staff on student wellbeing and behaviour.
- Liaise with families and professionals to develop effective support plans.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of support services.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in providing wellbeing advice and support informed by behavioural science.
- Ability to follow and improve procedures and guidelines relevant to student wellbeing.
- Capacity to exercise sound judgement under pressure and remain calm during student wellbeing challenges.
- Proven effectiveness as a high-performing team member, with a focus on professional growth.
- Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
