About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate team member to support children and young people in residential care settings.

  • As a Residential Care Worker, you will provide direct care and supervision to young people in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualised care plans to meet the unique needs of each young person.
  • Assist with daily activities, support their understanding of self-care, education, and recreational activities.
  • Promote a safe and positive living environment by maintaining accurate records and documentation.

Requirements:

  • A valid Working with Children Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check or being willing and eligible to obtain prior to commencement.
  • Availability to work across a full shift pattern (mornings, evenings and sleepovers).
  • A valid Drivers Licence and access to a vehicle.
  • An attained or working towards relevant Bachelor's Degree, Diploma or Certificate IV (Community Services, Youth/Social Work, etc.).
  • Experience working with young people/children.
  • Experience working in other support work related fields, i.e. disability, mental health, aged care, and childcare.
