**Job Opportunity:** House Coordinator

- **Sydney, Australia location:** We are seeking a passionate and dedicated coordinator to support our team and guide the children in our care.

- **Full-Time Position:** Our ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills, meeting the needs of the children and young people and our responsibilities under the Child Care Act.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Intermediary Care service
  • Supervise and train Support Workers at this service
  • Rostering
  • Incident Management
  • Completing Risk Assessments
  • Maintain high-level communication with all parties - including customers, stakeholders, staff and families

**Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in managing a residential service, preferably supporting youths in out-of-home care
  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Behavioural Science, or working towards
  • Sound knowledge of the Child Care Act
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team and in partnership with other services within the organisation and community
  • Sound practice and knowledge or significant experience in meeting the holistic needs of children who have experienced trauma and/or a disability
