Children's Care Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to provide a nurturing environment for children during our events.

This role involves supervising and engaging with children in a safe and supportive manner, organizing age-appropriate activities such as games, crafts or storytime, and monitoring their safety and well-being throughout the event.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing a secure and enjoyable space for children while their parents participate in the event.
  • Developing and implementing engaging activities that cater to the needs of children aged 2-5 years old.
  • Establishing effective communication channels with parents regarding their child's requirements and needs.
  • Collaborating with event staff to ensure seamless setup and packing down of the kids' area.

Requirements:

  • A valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).
  • Proven experience working with young children.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to create a fun, inclusive, and safe environment for all children.
