The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating freight and deliveries, planning and building loads, equipment and resource planning, raising and reconciling freight bills, and liaising with various teams to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate freight and deliveries for local drivers, prioritizing tasks to meet customer requirements.
  • Plan and build loads in line with customer needs, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
  • Manage equipment and resources effectively, minimizing downtime and optimizing productivity.
  • Raise and reconcile freight bills accurately, maintaining high standards of financial management.
  • Liaise with NTO, Ops, Depot, floor staff, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues promptly.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Prior experience in a similar role and industry, preferably in logistics or transport management.
  • Knowledge of fatigue and mass regulations, as well as understanding of chain of responsibility principles.
  • Professional presentation with excellent communication skills, able to deal effectively with diverse workforces.
  • Able to manage your own time, meet deadlines, and take responsibility for quality of work.
  • Mature attitude with logical approach to work, sound knowledge of metropolitan road networks.
