Job Description

Our team is responsible for collecting, monitoring, and studying business and production data to create custom reports that suggest strategic and operational changes. This includes:

  • Undertaking short-term production analysis and interpreting results of overall production to make solid recommendations.
  • Developing tools and using statistical methods to identify areas for operational improvement and streamlining processes and production efficiencies.
  • Conducting deep dives on production issues into short to medium-term periods.
  • Supporting workover programs, including strategy, production wedges, and rate build-up.
  • Quality assurance of business production deliverables through the Hydrocarbon Accounting process.

Key Responsibilities

The Production Analyst will:

  1. Collect and monitor business and production data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  2. Develop and implement tools and processes to streamline production operations.
  3. Conduct in-depth analysis of production issues to inform decision-making.
Requirements

We are seeking a skilled Production Analyst with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the upstream oil/gas or resources sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical, or similar).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to influence outcomes through negotiation.
