**Maintenance Optimization Role:**

This challenging role is responsible for leading a team to optimize production efficiency through the execution of maintenance plans and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the effective execution of maintenance plans, guaranteeing that tools, spares, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are readily available and up-to-date.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and manage engineering administration effectively.
  • Lead problem-solving sessions, identify potential issues, and facilitate solutions to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Foster strong team dynamics, implement performance management, and maintain open communication to ensure a collaborative work environment.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards by implementing best practices for a safe work environment.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expertise in high-speed packaging lines, with preference given to beverage industry experience.
  • Proficiency with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement processes, such as Gemba.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Previous experience working with external contractors and overseeing their performance.
  • Experience with FMCG machinery and the ability to meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Relevant Engineering and Maintenance Management qualifications.
