Job Summary:

A Production Optimization Specialist will partner with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and commercialization of products.

About the Role:

  • Collaborate with departments to provide process optimization support and technical expertise.
  • Develop knowledge and skills in CI, LEAN, and TPM methodologies amongst senior leaders and employees.
  • Lead process improvement streams of work, including loss analysis and improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze data to identify current gaps and opportunities for improvements.
  • Evaluate and recommend process capital improvements and automation solutions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement cost reduction, energy saving, and waste reduction initiatives.
  • Facilitate the link between R&D and production to ensure new products align with process capability.
  • Engage in new equipment concepts and installations to assess capability and suitability.
  • Drive standardization of processes and implementation of metrics and best practices.
  • Apply knowledge of batch and continuous processing systems to optimize process capability, throughput, and compliance.
  • Evaluate and improve product and process consistency through understanding of unit operations.
