Business Development Executives are key to driving growth and sales in the beauty industry. This role is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading consumer products division, building partnerships and expanding our presence across trade pharmacies and independent supermarkets.

  • The ideal candidate will be based in Sunshine Coast/Far North Queensland and cover a large territory, with regular travel required to Cairns every 8 weeks.
  • They will build on our partners' business growth by providing exceptional service, support, and value through strong relationships.
  • Proactively sourcing and securing new business opportunities across the pharmacy channel is essential for success.
  • Achieving monthly sales and growth targets is critical, as well as developing and executing promotional plans with customers.
  • Regular visits and management of customers on a call cycle will help drive growth and maximize opportunities within the given geographical area.
  • Developing strong customer engagement, brand advocacy, and loyalty through a collaborative approach is vital.
  • Knowledge of competitor activities, strategies, pricing, client objections, and local market characteristics is also necessary.

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • Proven track record in sales representation, territory management, or wholesale sales management, preferably within the pharmacy channel.
  • Excellent communication and sales skills, with the ability to influence retail partners effectively.
  • Ability to successfully manage their schedule and workload while traveling and visiting customer sites, demonstrating self-motivation and organizational skills.
  • A passion for building and nurturing customer relationships face-to-face is essential.
  • Ability to develop strong, long-lasting relationships easily.
  • Highly motivated and persistent in pursuing and achieving goals.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence positive outcomes.
  • Excellent planning, time management, administrative, and organizational skills.
