Business Development Executive Job Description

  • Job Summary: Drive the future of beauty in the Sunshine Coast and surrounding areas, building partnerships and driving sales and growth across Trade Pharmacies and Independent Supermarkets.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Build partners' business growth by adding value through strong relationships, service, and support.
    • Proactively source and secure new business opportunities across the pharmacy channel.
    • Achieve monthly sales and growth targets.
    • Develop and execute promotional plans with customers, ensuring adherence to agreed deliverables.
    • Visit and manage customers on a regular call cycle to help drive growth and maximize opportunities within the given geographical area.
    • Develop strong customer engagement, brand advocacy, and loyalty through a collaborative approach.
    • Demonstrate knowledge of competitor activities, strategies, pricing, client objections, and local market characteristics.

Requirements:

  • Proven Track Record: A proven track record as a sales representative, territory, or wholesale sales manager, preferably within the pharmacy channel.
  • Excellent Communication and Sales Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and sales skills, with the ability to effectively influence retail partners.
  • Self-Motivation and Organizational Skills: Ability to successfully manage your schedule and workload while traveling and visiting customer sites, demonstrating strong self-motivation and organizational skills.
  • Patient Service: Passion for building and nurturing customer relationships face-to-face.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence positive outcomes.
  • Planning and Time Management: Excellent planning, time management, administrative, and organizational skills.
