Job Title: Clinical Area Lead
Job Summary:This role is responsible for leading a team of clinicians to deliver high-quality patient care and achieve excellent clinical outcomes. The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive results-oriented teams.
The Area Lead will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with other managers to ensure the team is trained, supported, and held accountable to performance expectations;
- Maintaining clinical standards in the delivery of quality client outcomes;
- Developing and implementing individual clinician career development plans to support clinical growth and caseload development;
- Leading by example by maintaining a clinical caseload (Minimum expectation of 21 billable hours per week).
- Drive accountability to performance metrics, clinical policies, and procedures;
- Develop and champion strategies to further enhance a positive, supportive, and inclusive work culture, fostering teamwork and well-being to raise job satisfaction;
- Develop and implement new strategies and prioritize workloads;
- Lead and drive excellence through strong leadership, coaching, and influencing skills.
- Minimum 4 years clinical experience;
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Speech Pathology;
- Current SPA membership;
- Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle;
- Current CPR and First Aid Certificate;
- Current Working with Children or willingness to apply for a one; NDIS Worker Check;
- Satisfactory Police Check;
- Current Medicare Provider Number or capacity to obtain;
- Willingness to work flexible hours as required, including the requirement to travel and work across multiple sites.
