Medicare Mental Health Services:

We offer free services that do not require an appointment, referral or Medicare card. Our centres in Devonport, Burnie and Outer Hobart provide a safe and welcoming environment for people experiencing psychological distress. They allow individuals to:

  1. Explore alternatives to emergency departments
  2. Access support from trained mental health professionals within their community

Job Overview:

The Clinical Manager is responsible for clinical leadership and management of the site-based team members. This includes ensuring clinical governance and compliance targets are implemented and met, as well as working with other managers to support innovation and quality improvement for the region.


Requirements:

  • A mental health-related degree or qualification and relevant registration
  • Leadership experience or extensive experience as a Senior Clinician providing clinical support
  • Knowledge and understanding of evidence-based interventions and clinical practice
  • Highly developed communication skills and ability to engage with consumers
  • Experience in managing clinical governance and supervision
  • A current driver's licence and Working With Vulnerable People clearance
