Job Description:

The Team Leader, Hobart Clinical School, plays a pivotal role in overseeing the delivery of critical administrative services to the Hobart Clinical School. This involves managing a small team of professional staff to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of outcomes for years 3-5 of the Medicine Program.

Key responsibilities include leading, supervising, and directing the team to deliver high-quality administrative services, developing and maintaining effective relationships across the Hobart Clinical School and the wider Tasmanian School of Medicine, and advising staff, students, and clinicians on relevant policies and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate others
  • Excellent oral and interpersonal skills with the ability to understand client needs and provide exceptional customer service
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to perform tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Competence in using computer software applications, including word-processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation software, and email
Benefits:

This is an ongoing full-time role based in Hobart, offering a competitive salary within the range of $92,120 to $99,891 plus superannuation. The appointment will be at HEO 6 level.
