Quality Assurance Manager Job Opportunity

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager has become available.

The role involves ensuring the quality and safety of products, as well as continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all staff complies with good hygiene practices and SQF guidelines.
  • Creating, managing, and implementing regular reviews of Product Specifications, SOPs, and Work Instructions.
  • Managing internal, external, and third-party audits, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
  • Conducting food safety and quality trainings, including GMP/GHP, allergen, HACCP, and refresher training.
  • Communicating changes to legislation and essential information to relevant personnel.
  • Managing the approval of new suppliers and service contractors.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in Food Science, Microbiology, or closely related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in food industry quality assurance, preferably in high risk/high care environment.
  • Proven experience in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and continuous improvement.
  • Solid understanding of HACCP, Preventive Controls, SOPs, allergens, product traceability, and food industry regulatory requirements.
  • Sound knowledge of the SQF standard.
  • Attention to detail, time management, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
