We are seeking a driven and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead our food safety and quality systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain the Food Safety and Quality Management System (FSQMS) in line with HACCP, SQF, and customer standards.
  • Lead internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation is current and compliant.
  • Oversee compliance with FSANZ, labelling regulations, and food safety legislation.
  • Lead QA team in inspections, raw material checks, and in-process monitoring.
  • Drive root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Manage product non-conformances, including recall/withdrawal procedures.
  • Champion continuous improvement across quality systems and food safety practices.
  • Collaborate with production, maintenance, and procurement to proactively resolve quality issues.
  • Track and report on key quality metrics to the executive team.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of QC officers and technicians.
  • Promote food safety and quality awareness across all departments.
  • Deliver training on GMP, allergen management, and quality standards.
  • Investigate and respond to customer feedback.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure incoming materials meet specifications.
  • Support product development trials and shelf-life testing.
This role reports to the Head of Technical and Quality.
