Job Title: Medical Specimen Collector

QML Pathology is seeking a skilled and compassionate medical specimen collector to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collecting blood and non-blood samples with care and attention to detail.
  • Maintaining accurate records for every patient and sample.
  • Ensuring timely delivery of documentation within strict turnaround times.
  • Preparing and packaging specimens for transport and testing.
  • Liaising with customers, clinic staff, and couriers to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in phlebotomy or certificate III in pathology collection.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with high empathy.
  • Strong organisational skills, with ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively.
  • Valid driver's license and flexibility to travel to multiple clinics.
  • Working with Children's Check or willingness to obtain one.
  • Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid visa with permission to work.
