Job Title: Senior Anatomical Pathology Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled individual to join our team as a Senior Anatomical Pathology Specialist.

In this key role, you will be responsible for examining and reporting on specimens as required, with a focus on providing high-quality diagnostic services to our patients.

You will work closely with our team of consultants and medical students to develop and maintain expertise in anatomical pathology, with opportunities to participate in ongoing education activities, including teaching sessions and presentations.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong academic background, including MBBS or equivalent, and be registrable with the Medical Board of Australia. You must also become a registered trainee with the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Examine and report on specimens as required.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in anatomical pathology.
  • Participate in ongoing education activities, including teaching sessions and presentations.

Requirements:

  • MBBS or equivalent qualification.
  • Registrable with the Medical Board of Australia.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both spoken and written English.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
