Pathology Delivery Specialist

We are seeking a reliable and skilled individual to join our team as a Pathology Delivery Specialist. This role involves the safe and efficient transportation of pathology samples, specimens, blood products, X-rays, vaccines, and clinical waste to various locations.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently and can manage their time effectively. You will be responsible for ensuring that all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with our company's procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pick-up and delivery of pathology samples, specimens, blood products, X-rays, vaccines, and clinical waste.
  • Liaising between medical practitioners and laboratory staff regarding store orders.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Ensuring compliance with work health and safety procedures and quality assurance processes.

Skill Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A valid driver's license with an excellent driving record.
  • Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical capability to handle equipment weighing up to 15kg.
  • Ability to follow instructions and use initiative to make sound decisions.
