About the RoleOur team is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Pathology Specialist to join our staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing manual and automated diagnostic testing, conducting routine procedures from specimen reception to result execution for pathological diagnosis, including specimen dissection.We are looking for an individual with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, who can maintain equipment and operate it according to protocols. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of QC, QAP, and troubleshooting, and be able to identify and implement quality and service improvement activities.The Diagnostic Pathology Specialist will work independently with infrequent supervision, maintaining high standards of quality and excellence. The role requires a commitment to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with scientific knowledge and best practices.Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Science) or equivalent AIMS accredited degree.
  • Demonstrated experience, knowledge, expertise, and skills within the discipline.
  • Solid understanding of QC, QAP, and troubleshooting.
  • Able to identify and implement quality and service improvement activities.
  • High degree of independence and infrequent supervision.
  • Commitment to quality and excellence.
  • Adherence to departmental and organisational policies and procedures.
  • Positive attitude toward achieving outcomes and being a team player.
