About the Role
The Electricity Network Strategist will lead system planning and commercial direction for our electricity assets, customers, and teams. You will develop and maintain planning systems to ensure a reliable network for all customers.
You will be responsible for leading your team to grow their competencies and evolve their operating systems to meet industry expectations and grid transformation requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- People leadership and management experience of engineers
- Deliver System Planning to ensure reliability, capacity, and security of supply
- Develop and execute strategy for physical electricity assets
- Financial and Program Delivery Acumen
- Compliance and Reporting
About You
- Strong technical knowledge
- Experience in the electricity industry
- Experience operating in a competitive commercial environment
- Vision for the future grid and advancements in technology
- Stakeholder, regulator & customer liaison and influence
- Ability to write clearly and concisely to produce professional Board papers, business cases & reports
- Strong financial acumen
- Experience in risk assessment & management techniques
