We are seeking a highly skilled HR Generalist to join our team.
About the Role:
This is a generalist HR role with a strong focus on recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and workforce retention. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with senior HR professionals to deliver consistent, values-driven HR support across client areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior HR professionals to ensure cohesive HR practices across the site.
- Provide day-to-day HR support in recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle activities.
- Support performance management, grievances, and low-risk employee relations matters.
- Maintain accurate HR records and contribute to reporting and continuous improvement.
- Implement HR initiatives and systems aligned with organisational strategy.
- Act as a trusted on-site HR presence, offering timely advice and support to managers and team members.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Promote person-centred approaches in all interactions.
- Contribute to a positive employee culture through engagement, communication, and wellbeing initiatives.
About You:
- Previous experience in an HR Advisor or Generalist role, ideally within aged care, healthcare, or NFP sectors.
- Qualifications in Human Resources (preferred).
- Strong understanding of Australian employment law and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to build trusted relationships and demonstrate sound judgement.
- Advanced knowledge of HRIS (ELMO and iChris desirable).
- A collaborative, proactive, and values-driven mindset.
