About the Role

As a key member of our People, Safety, Learning and Culture team, you'll work collaboratively with the Senior HR Advisor to deliver consistent, values-driven HR support across client areas. This is a generalist role with a strong focus on recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and workforce retention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Senior HR Advisor to ensure cohesive HR practices across the site.
  • Provide day-to-day HR support in recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle activities.
  • Support performance management, grievances, and low-risk employee relations matters.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and contribute to reporting and continuous improvement.
  • Implement HR initiatives and systems aligned with organisational strategy.
  • Act as a trusted on-site HR presence, offering timely advice and support to managers and team members.
  • Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and Fair Work requirements.
  • Promote Sundale's values and person-centred approach in all interactions.
  • Contribute to a positive employee culture through engagement, communication, and wellbeing initiatives.
About You
  • Previous experience in an HR Advisor or Generalist role, ideally within aged care, healthcare, or NFP sectors.
  • Qualifications in Human Resources (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of Australian employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships and demonstrate sound judgement.
  • Advanced knowledge of HRIS (ELMO and iChris desirable).
  • A collaborative, proactive, and values-driven mindset.
