Expert Insurance Business Developer

This role presents an opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of a personal insurance division, while working in a values-driven team.
You will leverage referral networks and marketing initiatives to generate high-quality insurance leads, providing full risk advice to clients with the support of the insurance team.
Business development is a key focus, requiring you to build referral relationships and generate new business opportunities from your own networks and relationships with significant support from the broader advice team.
Whilst existing insurance clients require management, the primary focus of this role is on new business and building a book of ongoing clients.
Main Responsibilities- Provide risk advice to new and existing clients with the support of the insurance team.
- Generate high-quality insurance leads through referral networks and marketing initiatives.
- Develop and maintain referral relationships to drive business growth.
- Manage and grow a book of ongoing insurance clients.
- RG146 compliant or Advanced Diploma.
- At least 3-5 years' experience in a Risk Specialist role within the Financial Planning industry.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of insurance products and requirements.
- Ability to explain complex insurance concepts and principles in an easy-to-understand way.
