Job Overview

The role of an insurance business development manager involves managing and growing a portfolio of general insurance, including financial lines.

This includes providing expert guidance and support to clients on insurable risks and insurance products, delivering strong insurance solutions, and negotiating competitive quotations for clients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, policy accounting information, quotations, premium calculations, and other documentation in a timely manner.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, identifying and executing new business opportunities, and liaising with insurers to ensure adequate coverage.

Requirements
  • Experienced insurance broker with a strong understanding of major quoting platforms, including Winbeat and SCTP.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of broking compliance requirements and ability to provide expert guidance to clients.
  • Strong communication skills, proactive approach to account management, and tenacious and determined when faced with complex placements or high-volume periods.
