Role Summary

DXC Claims Management is thrilled to announce the establishment of operations in New South Wales, collaborating with icare to enhance recovery and return-to-work outcomes for injured workers.

With a robust history of over two decades in the field of workers' compensation claims management, we present a unique opportunity to become part of a newly formed DXC team, contributing to the integration of DXC's claims management proficiency with icare and the community of New South Wales.

The Senior Case Manager is responsible for overseeing the necessary interventions to ensure that high-risk cases achieve optimal recovery and return-to-work results. Collaborating closely with case managers, the Senior Case Manager will utilize advanced skills in injury management and return-to-work strategies, along with exceptional stakeholder engagement abilities, to secure the best possible outcomes.

Essential Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

  • Proficient in gathering information from diverse stakeholders to formulate effective case management strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing cases within the NSW workers' compensation framework.
  • Skilled in preparing for and participating in claims reviews and clinical case discussions to facilitate effective outcomes.
  • Familiarity with medical and paramedical terminology and procedures, including applicable treatment modalities for various injuries.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
