Acorn Rentals specializes in providing replacement vehicles to individuals involved in motor vehicle accidents, with reimbursement typically handled by insurance providers. Our Head Office manages all bookings, coordinates vehicle logistics, and oversees claims administration for various branches across the country.

About the role:
The ideal candidate will join a youthful and professional team responsible for managing claims from the initial application through to invoicing. Reporting directly to the Claims Administration Manager, this position offers the opportunity to develop a diverse range of clerical and customer service skills, supported by ongoing training.

We are seeking an individual who:

  • Possesses a confident and friendly phone demeanor
  • Exhibits exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Has intermediate computer proficiency, including knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Can thrive under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrates the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Provides a high level of customer service and builds rapport
  • Shows eagerness to learn and take initiative

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing applications/bookings via phone, email, and fax
  • Communicating with insurance companies
  • Making informed decisions regarding liability in motor vehicle claims
  • Coordinating the delivery and collection of replacement vehicles for clients
  • Liaising with repair centers regarding vehicle repairs
  • Responding to emails and managing correspondence
  • Performing general administrative tasks
  • Conducting data entry
